Ice Skating Event

The 4th Annual Kevin From Heaven Ice Skating Event was held on Sunday, March 16, 2014 from 4:00-6:00 at The Rink at Old York Road. Over 200 children, and children at heart, attended the event to support the Foundations mission of assisting individuals who are struggling with traumatic, life changing events. Skating was encouraged, but skating WELL was not a requirement, as many experienced at least one fall during the course of the 2 hour fun-fest. Good food, music and company made this event a huge success. Many left the event winners of various raffle baskets, candy jars and door prizes that were donated by local business owners and supporters. Special thanks to the Adamski Family for kindly donating the facility and for going above and beyond to assist the Foundation with this event and to Nancy Alcorn and her volunteers for putting it all together as they do every year!. We are looking forward to gathering again next March for more skating fun. Thank you all!

Koats For Kevin

Plans are underway for the 3rd annual Koats For Kevin event. This event collects gently used coats, hats, gloves and scarves for the poor and homeless. Each of the past 2 years, the Foundation has collected over 800 items for men, women, and children in need. All of the collected items were given to Krausey's Koats, an organization founded by a friend and supporter of The Kevin From Heaven Foundation, Joe Krause, who then distributed them locally and across the country. Collection dates for Fall of 2014 will be posted soon. Stay Tuned.
